What a week

...it's been! I have been on a little trip to Edinburgh, to visit a dear friend! It has been so much fun enjoying the city but mostly spending time with my friend! Since many of my friends are on exciting adventures (studying abroad, internships…) this semester it is really something to get together. So I enjoy every minute of it. Not just with the ones that are far away…
But I am drifting…I wanted to tell you about my vacation. ;) So many places we’ve seen, interesting and new dishes I’ve tried and so many nice new people I’ve met. I will show you some pics soon, but I haven’t had the time to upload them to my laptop, so they are still trapped inside my camera…

Places/sights/museums/café’s, we’ve seen together:
Edinburgh City
Portobello’s beach
Edinburgh Castle
Palace of Holyroodhouse
Rosslyn Chapel
Jamie’s Italian
Hard Rock Café Edinburgh
National Library of Scotland
Statue of Bobby
Edinburgh Dungeon
The People’s Museum
The Scottish Grown Jewels
The World’s End…and many places more!!!

Such a great city and so much fun for those few days. Ohh and I saw the new Bond movie….sooo great!! First time in an English cinema…;)

New world...

...with new glasses. I am used to getting new glasses every 6 months or so. But this time it was just crazy because I wanted a certain one and seemed hard to find the perfect fit for me. After five shops and I don't know how many glasses I found a nice one I liked!! So I decided for the one at the right bottom in the following picture. You can't really sea but it's not black it's more like a really dark red. Which I love even more because then you still have unique one but you don't have to be obsessed what to where with it if it's a certain color, like the really one in the right middle. I could not wear one like that because I have no idea how to match it with my colors of clothing and that would make me go crazy. I just tried it on for fun...
What I didn't know at that time was that the really hard part was still on it's way. I got my glasses about 1 week later and when I tried it on I just got dizzy. I had now idea why. I tried them out for a day or two anyway and it was not getting better. Every time I turned my head I thought my head is going to explode because of the headache. I thought it was something wrong with the glasses. So I went to the shop again and they told me, it is probably because my eyes changed so much this time. I never had that before.
It's like you move your head and the picture you're supposed to see changes but my eyes need more time to change that picture and that made me my huge headache. Now I have to suck it up for a few days and get used to the new changes in my glasses. I hope it turns out to be ok. I don't want to stop and clutch a wall or something every time I turn my head!!! But wearing it the second day today, I have to admit that it got a little better... Hope this will continue!;)

A car is like a friend

At least I would say so. He brings you from one place to another. Is there in sad and in happy times. Was my first car and will be remembered for that. Will be missed, there is never to be a first....

New fall decoration

Fall is in town... or at least it is supposed to!;) This year it seams that we skipped it a little since it was already snowing in the last week of October. Nevertheless I am not ready for the Christmas and Snow decorations and that is why I still need my fall decorations! I bought some heath to add a little color to my balcony which is already prepped for winter.

And the second decoration is my candlestick. Which  happen to love since I can redecorate it every season!*yay*

I collected some leafs, pressed them and added them to the candlestick. However this was not my best idea because they are starting to break and leave nasty crumbs everywhere... But still I like it and just have to figure out how I can preserve (maybe with hair spray??) them. I also found some chestnuts, acorns and such stuff and put them in there as well...
