...here
are some pictures from the short trip to Prague for New Year's! It was so much
fun. We saw so much, eat great food and just had a blast!!;) I have to say that
the best Christmas tree I have ever seen stands in Prague. It was just a light
sensation and you couldn't take your eyes off of it! Even better than the one
in Strasbourg!:P I can really recommend it for a trip, it’s really worth a
visit! We went to the Castle, the Golden Lane, almost every bridge in Prague we
saw, all the different parts of town where fun and something interesting to
see.

Happy New Year...Wait, Whaaaat??
uups..guess that was a while ago!!!:P
Right?
But here it goes since I haven't been able to do this earlier!!
So here are my last years resolutions:
Resolutions for 2012:
-to get outside at least 15 minutes per day
-read 3 books a month
-find an internship
-watch two movies at the cinema each month
-craft more, e.g. sewing, handicraft and paint
-to get outside at least 15 minutes per day
-read 3 books a month
-craft more, e.g. sewing, handicraft and paint
The ones that are strikethrough I have been able to achieve. You know it's really hard to get outside for 15 minutes a day? I tried to and kept it up quite some time, but especially weekends are bad, because I sit at home and do Uni stuff and don't get outside. But this year I will do better, I try! I also was able to read as many books as I wanted to, partly because of my BA-thesis and party because I was not in the reading mood. You ask: How come? I don't know, every time I picked up a book and started it, it reminded me of something (mostly sad) and I didn't want to read on....
So next(ahhh, this ^^) years resolutions are:
- Bake all recipes from my calender (there are 12)
- Read 24 (or more) books throughout the year
- Buy quality instead of quantity
- make sure to save 1€ a day (guess that'll be the hard one)
- Finish my BA and start something new
- Embrace new beginnings, whatever they are
And now there will be some thoughts on 2012:
The best that happened to me last year: there is not just one thing
this year! It’s the wedding, my internship, my trip to Edinburgh and Praha…
This didn't have to happen in 2012: making others see me in a different
way.
I have learned in 2012 that good friends are hard to come around to!
My movie of the year 2012 was Ziemlich Beste Freunde
My book of the year 2012 was Cecilia Ahern "One Hundred
Names"
My song of the year 2012 was Robbie Williams "Candy"
My TV-show of the year was Desperate Housewives and
Private Practice (both gone :( )
I've been there the first time in 2012 Praha and Edinburgh
In 2012 I travelled to: Cheb, Kalovy Vary, Luxembourg, Hockenheim Ring, Bamberg, Kaiserslautern, Edinburgh Strasbourg and Prag
I am proud of myself for doing this in 2012: my internship.
In 2012 I should have checked off more from my
resolution list
In 2012 I should have been less sidetracked.
In 2012 the saddest thing was that I felt left behind at one
point…
In 2012 I spend most of my time researching.
Five words that describe 2012 for me relax, bridesmaid, get-together,
goodbyes and research.
I am excited about 2013 because I’m going to finish my BA. and
start something new.
Things I need to do more in 2013: focus on the important
things (in life, at uni, in friendships)
Things I need to do less in 2013: buy crappy things just
because they are cheap.
The craziest thing I did in 2012 was make a scene.
In 2012 I went to a (real
big) wedding for the
first time.
In 2012 I did this after a long time again: Seeing my friends and former
Au-Pairs.
Word of the year? Bridesmaid or internship
City of the year? Praha
Best time spend with? A great friend in Edinburgh.

Where Santa could live
...this made my day! I drove by and was astonished. So I turned the car around and stopped in front of the house and took a look around. I was os flashed that all I could do was look and smile. It made me so happy! I love that some people here decorate their houses like this!
It makes my heart smile...
Merry merry Christmas to all of you!
Frohe Weihnachten!

#2 in Zwickau
Christmas market #2 with my mom and my grandma! This is the one we already went last year but it was closed due to a storm warning. But we had no idea, I had checked on the internet but it hasn't been published yet, so we went shopping instead. That is why we wanted (had :-P) to go again this year, to see how it really is!;) And it was really fun! We had a lot of good food and drinks and the decoration around the town was very nice! And even Santa came to say hello...!!;)

Christmas goodies
I love Chocolate covered marshmallows but in stores you can buy only simple ones. That's why I love the Christmas markets in Palatinate and around becuase they really have special ones, such as eggnog, strawberry or woodruff.

Christmas get-together
with a very good friend to see the Christmas market in Landau. I LOVE Christmas markets...and this one was something special. A lot of food and a lot of people interested in crafts presented their own special somethings. I cought some very good ideas that I want to do for next years X-Mas. Very good way to be inspired walking around a Christmas market....;)

Christmas Writing
...needs to be done! I have been writing some of the Christmas cards for this year but I think there are more to come. I have written all the ones that travel far, like Mexico, USA and GB. And soon the ones for the neighbor countries will go out and last but not least the ones that stay in Germany. I usually make a list of all the people who receive a nice card. First I started writing to a lot of people but then, as you would guess, it got quite expensive and I had to cut back.

WHAT a Day
...and what a Christmas market. I don't know if words
can describe this but this market blew my mind. It topped every market I have
seen before (and I have to quite some Christmas markets). Everything is bigger
and brighter. The variety is just out of this world and I didn't know where to
look first because one street was prettier than the one before....
But see for yourselves:
So delicious treats everywhere
Quite a tree...
Chocolate in every flavor
Mistletoe
Lights everywhere...
Christmas market in front of the cathedral
Different Christmas decoration around town
Windowshopping
I LOVE KÄTHE!!!!
