'Breadcrumbs'

So, I have finished the Book of tomorrow! And I have to say that I really like the idea behind it all! Although it has great thoughts in it, it was pretty hard to stick with it because the really good stuff happens at the end of the storry. The frist 100 pages -for me- are way too much and could have been shortened. Of course there are important facts but I think you could sum them up a little faster!

But all in all I liked the massage from the book and thats most important I think!;)

Es wird ernst!

Es ist traurig! Nun ist es entgueltig zu spaet etwas daran zu hindern! Es ist schade, dass so ein Wahrzeichen nun fuer immer weg sein wird!

Collecting Mushrooms

I had almost forgotten how much fun this is!

The forrest was so beautiful! it felt like we were in a fairy tail...

My basket was not filled that much! But I had fun and that was the best part of it all!;)

BERLIN...again;)

Being back home is a great thing eventhough I love traveling! How you should know by now I was in Berlin for a long weekend to visit a friend (F. thanks that I could come!)! It was a great weekend. A drove on Friday to her and picked her up from work. After we met we made our way down the Ku'damm... It was great being back and recognizing it all. it really hasn't changed that much... Sure some shops had to close but the really important ones were still there!!!
So as I said on Friday afternoon we made our way down the expensive street, the Kurfuersten Damm. Of course I spent way too much money...but sometimes you have to give a treat to yourself!;) I wanted to go to Hard Rock Cafe and we did, which made me very happy! To finish the great day we had Sushi for dinner! Oh my, it was a great restaurant and we ate very good and even to a good price! That evening I fell into bed and slept like a baby! ;)
On Saturday we started our day with a late breakfast and we decided that we wanted to go shopping and relax a little! So we made our way to nearest Ikea! I LOVE to go shopping there..But then who doesn't?? *hihi* Of course I bought something I didn't really need but at least I didn't spent too much money! Eventhoug we both didn't spent that much we had a lot of fun! Afterwards we went to a shopping mall close by! I had looked online where the nearest TK Maxx is from her and convinced her that it is a great place! Fortunately I found what I was looking for! I bought a great bag and some shoes, which I both already LOVE!! Eventhough we haven't spent a lot of hours in the shop it felt a lot more! My feet needed a rest!;) As so did she, so we decided to call it the day and relaxed with a good 'wine" and a nice movie!

On Sunday we were both up earlier than the day before. After breakfast we made our way to the subway (F. and all Berlin Citizens will forgive me!) and drove to the central station to visit the Bundestag! We had to wait in line for about an hour...which isn't too bad afterall! Thats the line! My friend is the last person to wait to get in. We rotated every 15 minutes so we wouldn't melt in the sun!;) But as I said the wait was ok and as soon as we went inside we had nothing to complain about anymore! Only one thing: We had to go through the metal detector and an x-ray machine (for the bags only), like the one's at an airport, and I was asked to show a small deodorant and my friend went inside with a pepper spray! Hello??? Then I asked myself, why do they have those detectors if they don't see the stuff?? As we reached the top I had already forgotten about that because the view was so great!

It was a great weekend and we had a lot of fun! I hope we can do something like this again soon!

Elvis and Birthday

Today is the 33rd anniversary of ELVIS death.
My birthday is in 6 months...^^

The gap

I really want to get my scrapbooks going but I don't have all the pictures I need. Do you know those days where you are going out and forgot your camera? I hate those days because then you have to rely on the others (who have a camera) that they are going to send you the pictures. But that rarely happens!
I will now sort the pictures and then write some of my friends who still need to send them to me!I hope I will get them...it makes me sad to see a gap in the scrapbook!:(

'Little me before big castle'

So I have started a new book. I wanted to read it when I saw it was published. It's called The book of tomorrow by Cecelia Ahern. The last book I've read from her was so inspirering that I immediately wanted to read the upcoming one. But since I have started this one I am a little disappointed because the beginning is like a bubble gum...because it extends on the first few pages...Nevertheless I keep on reading and maybe there is a change and as soon as that happens I will let you all know.

back home...

After two days with Caro I am back home and have a lot of plans I want to do!;) But first I want to tell you how the 'vacation' was! It was very funny. As you probably read, we went to see the new Karate Kid movie. It was a fun night with a fun text massage...;) Even though it was a short visit it were fun days. We played activity and You don't know Jack, which is too funny to answer the questions... Caro's family is very nice as well as her boyfriends..^^ All in all it was a great visit and we had a lot of fun...

Kino Night

The main reason for traveling to Caro was to see the new Karate Kid movie. So we went to see it yesterday. I really liked the movie allthough while watching some questions came up. Like why is this movie called Karate Kid when they are doing Kong Fu? But it didn't bother me while watching. It's just odd. Though it's a great movie and has a great cast, it's not as good as the old ones and cannot be compared. Nevertheless it is nice to see some old things back, like weird training where you think it leads to nowhere or WAX ON/WAX OFF!;)

Looking back

Wow, it's already been three weeks, almost four weeks since I am done with Uni! I haven't done anything! At least not as much as I wanted to do! I haven’t done a thing from my To-Do-List and I don’t even know where to start. Everytime I wanted to do something, something other come along and all my plans were gone through the window! But today I am going to do something. I am visiting a friend and this is going to be fun… I hope with that I can break the spell and really can do some stuff I wanted to do.
