New experience

I was shopping yesterday with my parents. Since I am on these crutches, life is a little bit more difficult. But yesterday was a fun day! I lent an electrical wheelchair to cruise through the aisles. It was nice to be able to reach almost everything on the shelfs.

Although there was one thing I did not like. And that was to be stared at. It is really difficult for people who have a disability and other people stare so much that it is annoying some times. Sometimes I feel like a elephant in the zoo. Everyone is staring at you and you can't run away! Like some kind of tropical animal one has never seen before and stare at with an open mouth. I really admire the people who have any kind of disability and give a sh** what the others think. It is really though as hell sometimes.

only 3 weeks left! And then I will be able to walk again normally!

Theater 06.03

For the first time ever I went to see a play in my town theater! My aunt saw the play last year and I was really happy to read it would be played again once more. So I didn’t hesitated a minute to buy tickets. Unfortunately there was only one ticket left! So I went alone!

Many know the movie Fame (old or new doesn’t matter) but less actually saw the play! I haven’t seen any of the movies, so I was going into the show with no expectations! I loved it! The actors, dancers and singers were amazing! And what also is very important in a musical like this, is the orchestra! They were phenomenal! All in all was it a great night and I have already decided to go again some time! Now I only have to find someone who will go with me!;)

PS: I also had a weird flashback to my Jugendweihe, because the ceremony was held in the music hall of the theater. The room was opened so that the audience could have a look!…very weird feeling!

Change

My new haircut! And I love it!

It was time that my hair was shortened because it was really unhealthy and very very thin and so it turned out like this!;)

Collected thing from February

After the two exciting plays I had my exam week. I had to hand in an exam paper (essay) on 14^th of January. And so had already done some work. Fortunately for me I had only 3 exams left. Two of them where a translation exercise and the other one was Grammar. So I only had to study hard for one of the exams! Unfortunately one of the translation exams was horrible and I don’t think I have passed it! :(

But to finish off my exam week, I met with a friend a we watched the Grammy’s! It was a great show, but I think the show was shortened for German TV. Because we watched all night but still somehow missed some of the award winners. But all in all it was a great show and a fun night with my friend!

BIRTHDAY! And finally it was my birthday…again! :D A lot of people congratulated me the day through. Even some did from whom I did not expect it. It was a fun afternoon with some of my friends at a café. And after all I would be having (with another friend) a big Party the following week!

Writing Job Applications

Walking around in my Uni I found some aushaenge for a praktikum. I am really excited about doing one. I hope it will help me for my future. It is all new for me to write Bewerbungen. After school I applied for the year in the US and after that for University, so I have never written a real Bewerbung. Nevertheless I fell pretty good about my writing and I think they turned out very well. ;)

What should we call it?

A couple of weeks ago was a Leonardo DiCaprio Night on TV! So me and some friends decided to watch the two movies shown on TV! I have to say that it was a Sunday night and Uni the next day! But we met anyway and made some Pizza and had a little to drink. Unfortunately is "little" a flexible word and so we had a very fun night. Sadly we weren't able to watch any of the shown movies! We were busy eating, chatting and drinking! But nevertheless it was a great night with loads of fun!;)

Bunbury

Bunbury is a play for the theater. And our German Uni Theater-club (we also have a English Theater-club) staged it. It was cut a little, but so funny and I had a really nice evening!

Already March...?

Wow, I can't believe that it is already March. And I haven't posted anything in February.Well, thats gonna change. I will write something to summon it all up!;)
