25 @ 25

I wanted to publish this post on my 25th birthday but I had no time. Inspired by some other blogs (for example Ja-Sagerin) I decided to do a list of things I wanted to do when I am 25. I think 25 is also a special age, like turning 16(finally having an ID),18(finally able to drive a car) or 21(it's wasn't much of a change for me just something legal)... Since I wasn't blogging then I had no idea of such lists I have not done it before. So I decided to start one now and if it's going great to do that the following years!:) So on my list are 25 things I want to do at 25. On the list are all kinds of things I want to do, have to do or need to check out (do something new).

Here's the list:
1--Travel at least 2 times outside of Germany
2--See at least on musical
3--Finish two old DIY-projects
4--See at least one concert
5--Do at least 5 DIY-project to give away
6--Watch 10 classic movies
7--Read 5 classic novels
8--Decorate something new/different than usual
9--Get a different haircut
10-Cook at least 5 meals out of "Jamies 15 Minute Meals"
11-Learn something new (language, game, craft...)
12-Finish my 2012 travel diary
13-Do something regularly (at least: once a week for a month)
14-Do something crazy
15-Redesign my blog header
16-Do a scrapbook class
17-See more (sights...) of the area (at home and in Hamburg)
18-Sell old things (at least one)
19-Sew a bag
20-Write a short story (at least five pages)
21-Do something for others (help somewhere...)
22-Try a new ride (motorcycle, quad bike...)
23-Go to a book fair
24-Get a make-up consult
25-HAVE A FUN YEAR!

I am pretty sure some of them will challenge me but I hope to have a lot of fun

Uni Theatre

...is always entertaining! But this time was also very funny! I have laughed all night long. Even late night in bed later that night. It was so much fun watching these one-act plays. Everyone so different but very very good in its own way. That night I had so much fun although I really missed my friend with me there! I used to go to these plays with one particular person but she is studying abroad so we weren't able to watch it together!:(( Though I really wanted to see the play... And I knew if I didn't went to see it, I would be mad at myself... So I am really glad I went and had a really fun night!!

Worst/Best Day ever

What a night! This concert was so much fun and I loved every minute of it!
Keller Mensch - first supporting act
The Pretty Recless - second supporting act
Giving everything she got
Amy also playing the piano and here keyboard
Evanescence

But I have to tell the whole story! I ordered tickets like weeks ago and wondered why they didn't arrive! So a day before the concert (which was on Thursday) I got a call from the sellers company and we found out, that I told them the wrong address to send the tickets to. So they told me that they will send them to me via Express, so that I will receive them in the morning. Next day it was the big day and hoped everything would go just fine. I told them, that when I am not at home they should give it to the janitor. And they told me it would be here until 12pm. Well, I waited and waited but nothing came. So I called there again and they told me they can't do anything else so I asked if I can call the delivery service (DHL) and talk to them. Said and done. They told me that the company did not say a certain time when the package had to be delivered. And that was the whole problem there. So somehow they reached the driver and asked him to drive to me because it's urgent. Well, I can tell you that I aged like years waiting and I think I am a lot closer to a heart attack. But when I saw the DHL- car turning around the corner into my street all was forgotten and I just wanted to hug the guy!
So I grabbed the tickets and drove to my friend to pick her up. And then we both screamed with excitement and because we were so happy that the tickets arrived on time...
After an hour drive we finally made it there and stood in line (you can take it literally, because the people behind formed a queue). And we couldn't await the start!
...the concert was simply amazing! We screamed as loud as we could and sang along to every song! The band gave everything and you could see that they were happy that we were such a good audience! It was just a great evening...
I could still scream when I think about the concert! Wohooooooooo

Lord of the Dance

WHAT an experience!
It was so much fun, entertaining and I couldn't get enough! You wanted to take part in it all the time and it seemed so easy. But I would look ridicules, so I just enjoyed watching it. I could watch them again and again and again. It was just an extraordinary event.

Theater 06.03

For the first time ever I went to see a play in my town theater! My aunt saw the play last year and I was really happy to read it would be played again once more. So I didn’t hesitated a minute to buy tickets. Unfortunately there was only one ticket left! So I went alone!
Many know the movie Fame (old or new doesn’t matter) but less actually saw the play! I haven’t seen any of the movies, so I was going into the show with no expectations! I loved it! The actors, dancers and singers were amazing! And what also is very important in a musical like this, is the orchestra! They were phenomenal! All in all was it a great night and I have already decided to go again some time! Now I only have to find someone who will go with me!;)

PS: I also had a weird flashback to my Jugendweihe, because the ceremony was held in the music hall of the theater. The room was opened so that the audience could have a look!…very weird feeling!

Bunbury

Bunbury is a play for the theater. And our German Uni Theater-club (we also have a English Theater-club) staged it. It was cut a little, but so funny and I had a really nice evening!

Faust

On Friday we went to the play Faust and it was so much fun! I have read the 2 Faust's written by Goethe, but this one was quite different! And still it was very nice and good played! It has been rearranged so it fits my University! All participants represents kind of this University. Dr. Faust is a professor and Gretchen is a ignorant student and learns a lot from Faust. Mephisto isn't needed anymore, because everybody deals with their problems in their own way.I wanted to upload a video but unfortunately it is not uploading anything....:( So for this time no video...sorry!

Concert year

Last year had been crazy! I can't remember when I went to so many concerts!;)
Everything started with a Xavier Naidoo concert..which was in Berlin and it was great! It was open air and we were about 12000 people!!!So a real cool concert.

The following concert was a Mando Diao concert..That was just crazy! So warm, so many people jumping and fighting for a good spot to see them....Just one word that describes this concert:CRAZY!
The next concert was P!nk! That was the best and exciting concert of the whole year! One suprise after another...just breath taking! And my last concert for the year 2009 was the Silbermond concert, I have been waiting for so long! I tried to get tickets since January and just couldn't get them...all sold out! But when they extended their tour I got the chance for some last tickets and it was great! Go Germans....Really good! I have seen them live once before but this was way better....:)
