Coocking time again

Finally doing some real cocking again. I bought some new cook books and honestly I would love to try all the recipes...but I can't do that much cooking if nobody is eating it in my family except for me.... Anyway, here are some pics of what I cooked recently....

Today is one of those days where you have to do so much things but everything you touch goes wrong. I wanted to water my plants and three of them fell down and there was a huge mess on the floor. I cleaned my dishes and my favorite wine glass broke... Without words! I have so much to do, but I can't really concentrate when everything I touch is going wrong. So what am I going to do? I guess not much. At lest nothing that I can break. :P 

Inspired

I am in love with a new blog I found. It's a blog about scrap booking, called Scrap Impulse. I am really in LOVE. It is great to find people that are as crazy as I am about scrap booking. It inspires me to do more and at the same time it makes me sad that I don't have the time to do more. :(
My last real scrapbook I made was during my year in the US, 2008. So its been a while. I mean I have crafted since, but scrap booking was not really part of it. Just making simple photo albums... My last book looked like this


Here are some impression from my new favorite blog! A lot of these pics remind me of me and my crafting.;) My books look a lot like hers, full of special moments and stuffed with small little peaces full of memories. 


I would love to have a crafting room...


I really have to do more crafting, it makes me feel so good and it relaxes me so much...

Can't believe it...

My first

...ESSI nail polish!!

I am in LOVE. Now there are other colors I want to have. 

For my first one I went really for a basic tone. 

I compared that one to a whole bunch of nail polishes from other labels and there wasn't quite a color like it...

I know it's just a simple color and you think :"Why spend so much for a nail polish?" But if you tried one you would understand! It has a great brush and the texture is like no other nail polish I have so far... So now I am really addicted and I want some more... And there is another reason. Have you ever seen so many colors to choose from in a nail polish?? Some of these colors I have never seen in other German nail polish products! Another reason to buy one of them...;)

Autumn collections

From other blogs I saw some nice new items from the fall collections. I really could use some color in my fall and winter outfits. To be honest the main colors in my closet are black, gray, brown and blue in the cold season. There is one red sweater and a green one, I guess. So I should really go fall shopping any day soon...

Tapas

So I discovered a new place in Gera, a tapas bar. And I wanted to try it. So I asked some friends and they wanted to try it too...so that was settled!;) I have to admit that I have never tried it before, except there was a try that ended in a salad because we couldn't decide!!:D But this time it was very easy to decide because all the Tapas were in pictures and it made it a lot less complicated to choose. I chose potatoes and shrimps to go along with very tasty bread! And since its the Spanish lifestyle to drink wine with it I ordered a red vino, something supposed to be sweet, but could have been a little sweeter for my taste! But the food was great and it was definitely not the last time we ate there...
