There is always a first...

Although I am living in Germersheim already for three years I haven't been able to go to the Christmas market. Somehow I was at home (or busy otherwise) during these weekends. You have to know now, that this market is very small and thus is not open 4 weeks ahead of Christmas (which is the usual) but rather two weekends during December (Most of the times at the beginning of December and then again in the middle). This is kind of lame, because usually I had other plans on those weekends and I always hoped for next year.

So this year was my first time and it was really fun! I went with a friend and we enjoyed some Gluehwein, Crêpe and some fun (Christmas) music was played by a live band.Although it closes at 9pm already we were there quite late but we still had a chance to look around and see the nice homemade pieces we could buy. It's a really nice and cozy Christmas market and it's definitely something different to the BIG ones in Germany and around...

Though Decision

This year’s decision for a Christmas blog background was not easy! I have found so many beautiful backgrounds that I could change my background every other day. But since I don't have that much time, to change it every day I mean, I had to choose one. So you see the choice. Do you like it or do you think I should go for another one?

DIY -- Paper balls

At the moment I find so many Christmas crafts online that I don't know which ones I should do first... Just don't have that much free time and time is just flying by at the moment anyway!
So this  DIY-project by Craft and Creativity seemed pretty simple and it was just something small (and pretty) to give as a little Christmas Present for friends with whom I am not exchanging gifts. Just a little something that says: "I think of you this Christmas" and maybe to decorate your home with!;)

I just tried the typical Christmas colors and I think both 3D balls look nice! I think of doing some more and in different colors since it's so easy!

DIY Candle

I was looking everywhere for nice candles for my wrath thing. In the end though I didn't quite like any. So I bought some simple, but quite bigger than the usual ones, tea candles and thought about redecorating them. How to redecorate? Don't you just love washi tape? You can create so many new things with it and not only use it for scrapbooking!;)

1. Remove the candle from the metal thing.
2. Select your favorite Christmas washi tapi and tape it onto the metal thing. Either way, fully covering the metal or just one line of washi tape. What you prefer.
3. Put the candle back into the metal thing and you are DONE! That simple!;)
Have fun redecorating...
