Manicure Madness

Inspired by the Manicure Monday post from ModernModestbeauty I thought about decorating my nails for the 4^th of July.

So I looked for the three colors and I was surprised when the red nail polish was gone. But then I remembered that I had to throw it away since it was not liquid any more. On the bright side however I had already bought one because needed one during last years vacation in Turkey. I tried some stars and stripes and I was really surprised how well it went, except for the single star on one finger. But then again I can’t draw good stars with markers either.

I somehow rather hated it when I was done, even though it looked ok. So I took it off and gave it second try, which I thought about had to be much less “right in your face”.

So I decided to only put the different nail polishes on different fingers, in order to guess the stripes, with only one nail being blue. I think it looks nice and it’s not too much which the other one was for me! And I think you can figure out the theme when you see them, right?

I was already told by a sales woman that it was a great idea and it is fun to have different colors on each finger. I told her why I did them like I did and she told me that she was a huge American fan and reason made it super cool for her!!;)
