It's time to sum the last year up. Though I am a little late, I still want to do this review. So here it goes...
The most surprising thing that happened in 2011 was my trip to Turkey (which was really good and I needed it so badly)
The best day to me in 2011 was the day of my parents wedding(8/02/2011)
This didn't had to happen in 2011 was my surgery and 2 months with my Walker...
My movie of the year 2011 was Country Strong and The King's Speech
My concert of the year 2011 was Evanescence
Musicals of my year 2011 were Lord of the Dance and The Rocky Horror Show
Play of the year 2011 was Bunburry
My book of the year 2011 wasSisterhood everlasting by Ann Brashares and Der schwarze Steg by Asa Larsson.
My song of the year 2011 was Adele: "Rolling in the Deep"
My favorite recipe in 2011 was a cookie recipe that I tried 3 time before they got right!;)
My favorite art work in 2011 was the calender I made for a friend
My favorite blog of the year 2011: http://suburbsmama.blogspot.com/
Happiest event of 2011 was the ROYAL WEDDING in GB.
Memorable Moment in 2011 was the 10 anniversary of 9/11.
I've been there the first time in 2011: in Stuttgart.
I didn't get to do this in 2011 travel to the US.
In 2011 I trevelled to: Turkey, Heidelberg, Mannheim, Neustadt and Stuttgart.
Things that annoyed me by the press in 2011 the misbehavior by politians in Germany.
Things that I have been touched by the press in 2011 the massacre on the island Utøya.
I am proud of myself for doing this in 2011: that I did so much for Uni, that I am still in contact with old friend and staying in touch for the future and that I was consistent with my new year resolutions.
Change of the year 2011 was my new (short) hair cut.
In 2011 I should have done more crafting!!!
In 2011 I spend most of my time chained to my bed and to the Walker.
The craziest thing I did in 2011 was that I have purchased tickets and told them the wrong postal code and ended up spending a day on the phone to get the tickets there on time at the actual day of the concert.
Five words that describe 2011 for me vacation, surgery, depending on someone, research papers and politics.
I am excited about 2012 because I will travel some and will see some old friends again.
Resolutions for 2012:
- to get outside at least 15 minutes per day
- read 3 books a month
- find an internship
- watch two movies at the cinema each month
- craft more, e.g. sewing, handicraft and paint
