I guess lists make my life a whole lot easier. A couple of days ago I made a list of books I want to read. I know I know. I already have a list, but these are books I already have and since I haven't read any classical ones and must reads I made another one. It's actually an idea from the book 1001 books you have to read before you die. I don't know yet if I want to read them in a year or so or if it's like in the title. Some books in my list are classics that one should read and unfortunately I never did (like Romeo and Juliet). I think it's very sad that we didn't read these in school but hey if we did I couldn't have made a new list... here are some:
- Wuthering Heights – Emily Bronte
- Oliver Twist – Charles Dickens
- Atonement – Ian McEwan
- Charlie and the Choclate Factory – Roald Dahl
- Harry Potter – JK Rowling
- Alice in Wonderland – Lewis Carroll
- Romeo and Juliet – William Shekespear
- Kabale und Liebe – Schiller
- Das Tagebuch der Anne Frank
- One Day – David Nicholls, Simone Jakob
- The Help – Kathryn Stockett
- A tale of two cities – Charles Dickens
- Moby Dick – Herman Melville
- Grapes of Wrath – John Steinbeck
- Crime of Punishment – Fyodor Dostoyevsky
