Hambach Castle

The Hambach Castle is right around the corner from where I study but somehow I haven't managed to see anything in the Pfalz since I moved here almost two years ago.
The Hambach Castle is mostly know the Hambacher Fest in 1832. Men and boys went up the mountain on which the castle stands to make their demands heard. In many ways this political event reminds more of a fair-ground with music, stalls and merry-go-rounds.
After a nice car ride and some walking up the mountain we had a gorgeous view!
P.S: Somewhere in the right is where I live, but almost close to the horizon...;)
Somehow I only took one picture of the castle itself...weird!
But we were very lucky to see a wedding happening that day. The bride looked breath taking and it seemed like a very nice reception.
That's what everybody should wear every day!!!!:D:D
