Three Days of Rain

Finally the new production of the Germersheimer Theatre Company premiered yesterday. I met with some friends to enjoy it. It was great to see a play again. Every time, after I saw a play, I decide to go to the theater more often, but never do. This time I will definitely stick to it. But back to the play. It is mainly about three characters.
A year after he disappeared on the day of his father's funeral, Walker Janeway returns to New York. He takes up temporary residence in the unused space where thirty-five years earlier, his father Ned, and Ned's late partner Theo, both architects, lived and designed the great house that would make them famous. Sleepless and emotionally jangled, Walker scours the old empty space for clues, evidences or keys to the tortured family history. (http://the-germersheim-theatre-company.com/html/coming_next.html)
It is a two act play and first you see the 'now' and in the second act you are back in time where you get to meet the parents of Walker and his sister, and the architect partner Ned. I liked the second act much more. The first one is very aggressive and they are fighting a lot. And I also found it a little confusing. The second act however is where one is send back in time, when the Walker's parents met. It is a lovely act and the Ned and Lina are falling in love with each other. All in all, it was a great play and really enjoyed it. I can't wait for the next play...
